The Postwoman ist ein romantischer Spielfilm aus der Serie Reflections of Women (kreiert von Etti Anetta-Segev und Michael Tapuach), der die Geschichte von Levanah, einer einsamen Frau um die Vierzig, erzählt. Ihr Leben spielt sich zwischen ihrer Arbeit als Postbotin und der Sorge um die kranke Mutter zu Hause ab. Eines Tages verliebt sie sich in einen Mann namens Kasuto, der in ihrem Distrikt neu zugezogen ist. Um ihn für sich zu gewinnen, entwendet sie einen Brief, der ihm von einer Frau als Antwort auf eine Partnerannonce geschickt wurde. Unter dem Namen dieser Unbekannten beginnt Levanah eine Korrespondenz mit Kasuto.

The Postwoman, a romantic feature film out of the drama series Reflections of Women (series originators: Etti Anetta-Segev and Michael Tapuach), tells the story of Levanah. She is a lonely woman in her forties, encumbered with an ailing mother. One day Levanah falls in love with Kasuto, a man who has recently moved into her postal distribution area. Impulsively, and quite uncharacteristically, she appropriates a letter addressed to him by an unknown woman who has written to him in response to an advertisement in the personal column of the local newspaper. Using an assumed name, she embarks upon a fantastic and intimate correspondence with the man to whom she is so greatly attracted.
