Auf ihrem Weg zu einem Markt werden der israelische Hühnerfarmer
Marziano und sein rumänischer Mitarbeiter Ceaucescu bei einer palästinensischen Straßensperre aufgehalten. Dabei stellt sich heraus, dass der dortige Polizeikommandant Nabil früher bei Marziano gearbeitet hat. Unter der sengenden Hitze kommt es zu einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen den Männern. „Die Rivalität zwischen Marziano basiert auf der

On their way to a market, the Israeli chicken farmer Marziano and his
Romanian worker Ceaucescu are stopped at a new Palestinian roadblock.
Marziano finds himself confronted with Nabil, who worked for him
in the past and is now a police commander. In the burning heat of a merciless sun, it ends in a „cockfight“. „The rivalry between Marziano and Nabil is based on ‘who's the Man’, who's the toughest, where every concession equals weakness. That's the rooster's way.“ (Sigalit Liphshitz)
