Zev arbeitet in einem Supermarkt, wo er Tag für Tag die Ware mit Preisschildern etikettiert. In seinem langweiligen Leben gibt es nur zwei Lichtblicke: die Sympathie zu seiner Kollegin Zarchit und die TV-Quizshow “The Price is Right”, wo die TeilnehmerInnen die Preise von verschiedenen Gütern erraten müssen. Da Zev alle Preise im Kopf hat, nimmt er an der Show “The Price is Right” teil, vor allem, weil ihn Zarchit und sein Bekanntenkreis dazu ermutigen.

In a supermarket Zev labels prices all day long. He leads a boring life,
highlighted by his female colleague, Zarchit, and a popular TV game show called „The Price Is Right“, in which one has to guess the right price of miscellaneous articles. Zev participates in the show. „Daphna Levin’s little jewel of film comedy is actually in itself quite a challenging paradox: it is as enjoyable to watch as it is difficult to analyze. To say that it is a social satire is true, but not enough. To say that it is a zany love story is also true, but not enough. A parable, then?“ (Sébastien Doubinsky)
