Der zehnjährige Noam und seine beiden Schwestern sind in einer
schwierigen Situation, weil ihre Eltern beschlossen haben, sich probehalber
zu trennen. Die Kinder hoffen sehnsüchtig, dass die Familie wieder
zusammenkommt. Da die Mutter ganztätig berufstätig ist, schlüpft
Noam in die vakante Vaterrolle. Auf „dem schmalen Grat des Balkongeländers
hoch über dem Straßenpflaster sucht er die Balance zwischen
Erinnerung und Erwartung, zwischen Hoffnung und Verzweiflung. Bei

Ten-year-old Noam and his two sisters have to face the trial separation
of their parents. The children who are staying at their mother’s place
desperately hope that their father will come back to them. While his mother
has a full-time job and his older sister is occupied with her own problems,
Noam slips into the role of the missing father. Walking the thin
line of a balcony wall high above the pavement, he seeks the balance
between memory and expectation, between hope and despair.
