The film brings the so-called “Aktion T4” into focus, the systematic murder of people with disabilities by the Nazi regime – a crime that began before the Holocaust and remained excluded from public memory for decades. Moving between historical sites, archival material and contemporary voices, it asks how remembrance is formed and whom it includes. Why did it take so long to gain a visible place in collective memory? Following debates around memorials, participation and recognition, the film reveals remembrance as a contested process.
