Description:
Israel’s democracy is in crisis. Benjamin Netanyahu's government, in alliance with extreme right-wing movements, is facing resistance from the population. Many Israelis are concerned regarding the influence of extremist forces. An alliance between the followers of Rabbi Kook and the heirs of the racist Meir Kahane represent this development. Two central figures are Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, responsible for settlement expansion. The documentary portrays the politicians and highlights the resistance of Israelis who fear for their democracy. The film was shot in the summer of 2023.
